Okay, I don’t know if it truly counts but it’s over 800 pages so that has to count for something. Honestly the best book I’ve read this year is Manacled by SinLinYu. It’s a fanfic, but it literally changed my brain chemistry. It’s my #1 book for the year. She writes beautiful, she took JK’s world and expanded on it in such incredible detail. I could get on a soapbox. I can’t wait for her to release Alchemised.

First, congratulations on the starred review and new YA book coming out next year, that's exciting. I read so many good books this year, but just finished Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase for the first time and am still swooning! So much fun!
