THE PARTNER PLOT Preorder campaign!
Hi everyone!
I know it’s been a while since I last sent a newsletter. I’ve been working hard on my 2025 novel. But today I’m sharing fun news about The Partner Plot’s preorder campaign!
If you preorder The Partner Plot from my local independent bookstore, Inkwood Books, you will receive a custom art print of Violet and Xavier and a bookmark!
You can preorder The Partner Plot directly on Inkwood’s website here. At checkout in the “instructions and comments” section, add your personalization request info. Orders must be placed by February 20, 2024.
Here is a close up on the art print, illustrated by Kwarateen (who also illustrated the preorder campaign art for The Neighbor Favor). I love this art so much. I think it really captures Violet and Xavier’s vibe.
Here is a closeup on the bookmark, designed by Diana Sousa. (Diana has been designing my bookmarks since I was a baby author in 2019.)
Preorders help authors a lot because it lets our publishers know that there is demand for our books. Good sales = more books from me in the future. And you’ll get some fun items in the process! If you do preorder The Partner Plot (or purchase any of my books), you have my heartfelt thanks!
A couple quick updates on what I’ve been doing the last three months:
Mostly, I’ve been working on the first draft of my 2025 novel. If you don’t follow me on social media, you might have missed my announcement from a few months ago. My 2025 novel, THE LOVE LYRIC, will be about Iris Greene, who is the eldest of the Greene sisters. (For a refresher, Lily (The Neighbor Favor) is the youngest sister, and Violet (The Partner Plot) is the middle sister). I finished the first draft a little over a week ago and now it’s time for me to start revising before I send the draft to my editor. Here’s a picture of the deal announcement:
I dressed as Mia Thermolopolis from The Princess Diaries for Halloween and later discovered that MANY other people also wore this same costume (at least according to Tiktok.) But I still really liked this costume! I won fourth place at a costume party.
That’s it from me for now. I’ll return in December with my usual newsletter, sharing my favorite books and movies of the year!
xo, Kristina
